If however you know you have tons of free time and you're prepared to commit to all of the games in the series, by all means start from Sky. For me the advantage of this is that Zero is just a far superior game and story to Sky FC and my interest in the LoH world largely starts and stops with these characters. If you play Zero/Azure first and want to learn more about the world and chars outside Crossbell, you can always backtrack to the Sky games, if that's the order you choose. The setting and main characters change between the Sky and Zero/Azure series, so Crossbell (Zero/Azure) is something of a clean break, despite the recurring elements. It's a continuous series and you will miss the significance of some recurring characters, but it's easy to infer who they are and what their back story is supposed to be like. I started with Sky and the pacing drove me crazy so I skipped the second and third Sky games and went to Zero, which I enjoyed much more than Sky First Chapter.
